Hey Zach - does it have to be in the USA? If so, surely somewhere in california with access to the ocean for surf and sailing, but not too far from the mountains either.
In Canada - Whistler is awesome
In Europe - Chamonix and Morzine are great towns with world class climbing, skiing, snowboarding etc. Also, the French Alps are only a couple of hours form the coast - which is beautiful. Check it out if you get the chance.
