Profile Page Ideas

I'm looking for ideas for the profile page. Here are my ideas so far.

• Show recently posted photos from the photo gallery or list your albums with thumbnails.
• Show recent reviews.
• Add a blog.
• Add a field listing which adventure sports you like or do.
• Travelogue/Blog

I like all of your ideas, particularly the blog and gallery. People on a forum like this are going to be doing a lot of exciting things (and they'll probably be taking a lot of photos along the way) and blogs and galleries would give members an excellent opportunity to show off what they've been up to.

I think maybe the sports people like or do should be linked. What I mean by that is that a user could click on an interest on someone's profile (for example "snowboarding") and be taken to a list of other members who also put down snowboarding as one of their interests. For me, being able to find people on a website who share my interests is partly responsible in deciding whether I stick around or not.
Similarly, you might also think about setting up interest groups that users can join according to what they're in to. Maybe they could have their own "members-only" section or something.
