California is great for all this. I live here. I don't do all those sports Zach mentioned but I know alot of people that do.
The price is a bit out of control for living here and it's way overcrowded.
Is it too warm for you in the equatorial region.
I'm thinking Panama. They have it all. Beautiful ocean for all your watersports. Lakes if you don't want to be salty. Mountains for climbing and biking and camping. And a dollar based economy. When you go there you buy everything in U.S. dollars.
