I used to listen to a lot of metal for a few years, a lot of trance for about a year, now I'll listen to most anything. Current favorite genres are reggae, indie, alternative, folk and chillout.

Bands: Xavier Rudd, Motion City Soundtrack, The Arcade Fire, John Butler Trio, The Postal Service, Bob Marley, State Radio, Massive Attack, and Hooverphonic.

I know everybody tries to pimp their favorite artist, and while I could go on about all of mine, I would highly recommend Xavier Rudd to pretty much anyone. Wikipedia link. He plays more than a dozen instruments, and is a one-man band with great messages.

I followed up on your recommendation Jimmy and i have to say it's a great find. I may have to pick up a few albums at the weekend. Any particular one that i must buy?

As for my favourite artist, i managed to get tickets to Radiohead's gig in Glasgow Green in June. The 'Green is expected to fill up with 80,000 strong Radiohead fans and i can't wait.

I'll be sure to take a few pictures.

Wow, I didn't know Radiohead was still around! I used to listen to them all the time. I might have to dig out my old Radiohead CDs.

They just released their seventh studio album 'In Rainbows'. It's possibly their best album yet.

Nickelback is currently my fav. I tend to just like diffrent bands/artists at diffrent times.
