GIMP or Adobe Photoshop?

Which one do you perfer? GIMP or Adobe Photoshop?

I think GIMP is better. It's Free and it has different Add-Ons like
Animation Package - Animate Images
GIMP Shop - A Re-make of Photoshop but better

More customizable too!

I've had both at some point and the GIMP seems easier to learn.

I've never used GIMP. It took me a little while to teach myself Photoshop but I use it all the time now. I upgraded to CS3 at the end of last year and it's great. Although it is really expensive. I think the upgrade for the whole creative suite cost me close to a thousand bucks.

I just looked back in my Amazon account. It was $485 for the Web Premium upgrade. I bought a new wireless router and a couple other things at the same time. That's why I was thinking it was more. Guess that's not bad since I use Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro all the time. I use Illustrator and Flash sometimes but I've never really taken the time to learn those two so I'm not very good with them.

That's probably just for Photoshop. I bought the whole Web Premium Creative Suite with Dreamweaver, Flash Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Contribute, Fireworks and Acrobat Pro.
