Lake Powell for me. On the nevada, utah, arizone border. The place is so beautiful. I hitched there from the grand canyon having never heard of it. i was blown away. Spend labour day weekend skiing on the lake and climbing the cliffs.

Greetings to all! So far, the best places I had been on camp was costa del sol spain last year! The place is really suitable for camping activities.

I always love a good camp in the woods, with a river nearby. I HATE camping in open spaces

I prefer camping in a place where nobody can find us though. Total privacy!
Like in a forest, deep into it..

I've done some nice trips in Tennessee. On the plateau we did Big Fork river ... at the fork of the river we set up camp on this ledge area that overlooked the two rivers. It was about 100~200 feet above the river and was one of the most beautiful sites I've seen.

Another good trip was a winter trip to Mt. Baldy in the Cades Cove area of the Smokies. It was cold but the summit was worth it to see everything snow covered.

I've always enjoyed camping in the valleys around Leakey Texas. Now that is some pristine country.

I'm a Scotsman born and bred, so it has to be the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. (There was a picture i wanted to show you which i'll post when i have over 5 posts).

Due to Scottish law, you're allowed to camp anywhere in Loch Lomond. Only thing is the whole damn place is private land now . Last time we went camping up there we ended up in the woods on the edge of someone's large estate.
