River Rafting?

Has anyone rafted before? I really love it and have done it a couple of times myself.
It's very common here, in India, if you stay near a river.
It was a great adventure, my first rafting experience!
I almost crashed into a big rock. But then, our guide somehow managed to save us.

I went rafting in Brazil once. It was a blast. We had to learn all the commands in Portuguese which was kind of cool. At one of the waterfalls they let all of us out of the raft and we each went down the falls without the raft. It was insane!

I want to do it again but there aren't many rafting rivers around Chicago that I know of.
