Skiing is my thing. I could never stay up-right on a board.

Snowboarding: It's worth a try!

Let's face it, learning a new skill as an adult is challenging! When I first learned to snowboard in my mid 20s, I got so bruised I liked to say that the mountain kissed by butt, literally. It takes time to learn to ride, especially if you learned to ski first. They are very different skills. Expect to work at it a few days before you catch on. If possible take at least one lesson, the instructors can really help you understand that balance and trusting your balance is really the key. The good news is that once you learn, your body doesn't forget it (kinda like riding a bike). I just rode again for the first time in three years, it only took a few runs and it all came back to me. My best advice for learning to ride:
Be patient
Have a few shots of peppermint schnapps along the way
Wear snow pants with good padding on the butt!

My best choice is "Snowboarding". It's kinda fun and I just never went skiing but, who knows... Skiing might be better than Snowboarding.

I used to snowboard on hills around my house but I've never actually gone snowboarding on a mountain. I want to try but it's been a really long time since I've been on a snowboard so I'm sure I'll be pretty bad at first!

I'm just warning the masses about the dangers of giant, man-eating bears!
