Skiing or Snowboarding?

I only ever ski, I wouldn't mind trying snowboarding, but i don't know whether i can be bothered to start from scratch again.

After skiing for 9 years, it just seems hard work to go back to square 1 again!

I learned to ski when I was younger although I've only recently started snowboarding thanks to the indoor ski-slope in Milton Keynes.
It's difficult to say which I prefer because I'm much better at skiing, but I find snowboarding a lot more fun.

It's definitely worth giving snowboarding a go, though.

If I had to chose between the two, I would go with skiing.

I just started snowboarding, it was a blast! Although I have never tried skiing before, snowboarding is a nice choice. And it is also good to try new things, give it a shot you may like it.

I went skiing down in New Mexico, and couldn't get the hang of it. I really wanted to try snowboarding but some people were saying that was even more difficult. I have a feeling it depends on the person though, and for me, looking back, I really wish I had given it a shot. The way I see it, I was always pretty lousy at roller skating as a kid, but I could tear up the streets on a skateboard.

If I was starting from scratch, I would have chosen snowboarding, but I am now very much of the side of skiing!

I tried snowboarding for one day on a holiday, had to take the next day off simply becuase I was so bruised and battered!!! Felt soo good when you actually do a good run though.

I've only been skiing twice. First time was way back in school for a field trip. The last time was with a few friends. Unfortunately I discovered that I can't wear rental ski boots anymore, my calf muscles are too big for them. So in order to go I would have to buy my own boots so I doubt I'll be going again anytime soon.
